I just got back from the bodyshop this afternoon after looking at the painted chassis. I also spent some time masking off some areas for the second color that is going over the base white. In the pictures, the blue squares are a mask for the second color, so when it is all painted and the blue squares removed, it will show white. The front of the car will be painted blue.

Beautiful paintwork! How far back are you going to paint it blue? How are you going to do the transition from blue to white? What color blue? Awesome!

If you look at the first picture, you can see some fine line tape running from top to bottom of the door and the trailing edge of the squares. It will be painted blue everywhere back to that point. Everywhere you see a blue square will then become a white square as the vinyl is removed. The blue will be identical in color to the blue square. There will be additional squares of blue vinyl down the sides of the car as if they are "peeling off" the front of the car.
