You do know your spoiler should go down when you stop don't you? Or is that why it's going back to 9M...........

I have a 'hot start' problem which is either a fuelling problem, or a starter motor problem. Or possibly both. The car *very* occasionally stalls (the last time was 3 months ago or so) when taking it out of gear and coasting to a stop.....and of course it will not start again and due to the amount of traffic I had no space to 'bump start' it....so luckily I was able to coast 50 metres or so down the fly over ramp and come to a stop between the 3 lanes on my right and the slip road coming up on the left...I was there for an hour when the police turned up and pushed me to the 'hard shoulder'...and then I waited for the truck..... My recovery service told me that if I was away from my home address that the car could be taken *anywhere* in the UK so I decided it might as well go up to Ninemeister because if it is not just the starter motor problem then they will need to tweak the Motec....so I guess I won't see it for a little while......and GOOD F***ING RIDDANCE..!!!!

Good luck, Christer. Hopefully it's the least-expensive possible problem.

And I must say, your car sure makes that flatbed truck look good. I almost want to ask for another camera angle.

You are out of luck there, that was the only shot with my camera phone..... At least I have the registration number of the truck for when my car does not arrive at its destination later today...

Sorry to hear this mate!! I bet the tow truck driver was well pleased when you told him he'd have to take a drive up to Warrington!

Hope you get her back soon!

The initial diagnosis is either the starter motor or the immobilizer....or...ha ha. I will know next week I think - at least it got there in one piece....
