Brake bleeding: How do you replace bleeder valve cap?
I just finished bleeding my brakes using the Motive power bleeder, which is a great product BTW. My bleeder valve caps are still in okay condition but will need replacing in the near future. Looks like the caps are held on by the bleeder valves, meaning that the valves have to be removed to replace the caps.
Seems like I would have to remove the old bleeder valve & cap as quickly as possible and screw in the replacement, which would make a mess. Is this the correct procedure, or is there an easier way?
Thanks in advance,

Drew,
If you make the change when the pressure bleeder isn't on the system, there's nothing to pressurize things, so leakage is minimal. There may still be some, but last time I did that I don't recall a big mess.
