Post 964 Speedsters anyone?

I'm usually on the 996 board but have always loved my 94 Polar Silver Speedster. I thought if there were any other 'Listers with 94 Speedsters they might put them up on this post.

Mine was one of 5 documented Polar Silver Speedsters as you can see from reading the letter from PCNA on the Speedster website listed in my signature.

Hi Don,

Thought you sold your speedster?

Harald, nice speedster!!!!

There was another fantastic speedster that I saw in a magazine some time back owned by a guy in San Fransisco. Think it was maritime blue with a full strosek style conversion- engine was worked over by S-Car-Go...that was an absolute beast....

Las month I was in Paris and as I walked down the road a 964 caught my attention (as would any other Porsche for that matter). On closer inspection it turns out it was a silver Speedster (just like yours Don). Beautiful car, but shame that the owner completely neglected it, as it had scratches on all the bumpers, a small dent on the rear wing, a torn roof and it obviously hadn't been washed in months. I wondered how someone can treat such a rare car like that. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Yep, that is the EXACT car I was talking about....dunno why the main heading shows it as an auto transmission...it had the 993 6 speed transmission installed.

Superb...if only I lived in the US, that would be the first car in my garage!!!

Crikey Harold, I've agreed with virtually everything you write, but that thing?!?!?! YUK, YUK and TRIPLE YUK........(mind you I wouldn't mind Mr. Bonds' batting eye and have that sweet swing...just not that car!! - or his earring!!).

Don & Harald, your cars are beautiful. I've a particular weakness for 911's in Polar silver and thats the first 964 Speedster I've seen in the color
