listened to the plethora of hot cars as they were being moved. Vote for best sounding was the 964 RS Club Sport - Cat only (no primary or secondary I think)

The 964 RS 3.8 is a pretty rare beast. I'd love to actually see one in person someday. According to Bruce Anderson's Porsche 911 Performance Handbook only 100 were made in 1993. 55 were the RS street version and 45 were built in RSR racing trim. I believe they were available only in Europe - so my chanches of ever seeing one in the flesh are pretty slim.

The RS 3.8 made 300HP <img border="0" alt="[burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" /> and cost $140K <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> That extra cash put a lot of goodies on the car though..... Sport clutch, widebody fenders with 18 wheel, big brakes, adjustable sways bars front and rear and an adjustable rear spoiler.

There is a guy in the Metro NY PCA that has a very original example of a 3.8 RSR racing version. He drives it at DE events and even club races it. If you want to see a real genuine factory correct 3.8 RSR that has not been modified or over-restored send me an email at jcolasante@nyc.rr.com and I'll put you in touch.
