does anyone know the functions that the DME takes car of outside of the Fuel map chip in relation to air/fuel mix. i am assuming that it also looks after ignition timing.
what i am getting at is there are at least 4 types of DME part numbers (my original is an .01) but i am using an .02 with a weltmister chip.
i have a sneaking suspicion that this could be part of my problem as i have the carrera cup injectors in my car (larger).

I double checked some other resources, and can't find anything that speaks to special 964 Cup injectors. If you have larger injectors, is it possible that someone installed 993 injectors, which are larger?
