ignition leads (Coil to dist)
Hi
Just changed my coils and leads, there is a sliding sleave on the wire from the coil to the dist cap. Where should this sleave be located in the wire?
At the coil end
at the dist cap end
or in the middle of the two clips that hold the wires together
Still trying to solve my xmas lights for the 2nd time in 4 years

For the two wires leading from the ignition coils the sleeve should be on the distributor cap side. The other 12 wires should have sleeves on both ends (spark plug & distributor cap). Did you buy factory or aftermarket wiring? (i thought maybe the factory wires (now) come with two sleeves for both ends but originally only for one side?)
