To Glue or not to glue (Cabrio Top)
Hi
I have just replaced my tension cables that run down the side of the cabrio roof. Ended up replacing them with nylon covered stainless steel cable from a fishing trace.
Now do I glue down the part of the hood to the frame shown below. On one part of the hood there is a palstic tab, this was glue previously but not sure if that is right. It started to come unglued and the hood would not close unless you folded the fabric in by hand.
Help me please.
Thks

The sides do not get glued. They will need to be able to fold as the top is raised open. The cables hold this area down and keep it tight to the frame when the top is closed.

PS, the coated SS cable is a good idea, wish I had thought of that when doing my top. Instead I bought from the dealer.
