It all depends on the offsets. I believe the OEM offsets are approx. 52mm front and back. If you find OEM Turbo Twists, the offsets should be fairly close.

One manufacturers 275 may be very different from anothers. I would check the TireRack website and look at tire specs including actual width and sidewall height. Compare these to your OEM setup and get what is the closest. If you are going with a larger rolling radius, make sure the increases are approx. the same front to rear.

You might find that 275s will increase the understeer nature of the car too much. I run 225/255s on my C4 and I find that car to be fairly well balanced now, after a good alignment (maxing out negative camber) and corner balance. It still pushes in tight corners on AutoX courses but the back end can be controlled with the throttle quite easily now.

What exactly do you mean by "maxing out negative camber"? I'm vaguely familiar with camber setup, but not enought to know the difference. What do I gain by having a 0 camber or negative camber set-up?

ALso, a question for the trackheads.. I've read a lot of posts about the 911 and oversteer and then some people complaining about understeer... From what I can make of it, oversteer is when the backend goes out, away from the turn, correct? So understeer would be the back end going into the turn? I just can't visualize it... Can someone give me a good explain-o on this whole thing? I did a search on the 911 forum, but didn't find any explanations, just people talking about it..

thx for all the help here.
