Post Sources for old dealer sales materials?

Anyone know of any sources for old Porsche sales brochures, propaganda, etc? Is it strictly swap meets and flea markets now?

Thanks!

Mike,

You might also try eBay. I must admit that I got a couple of brochures that way.

Happy hunting!

Mike:
Check out Walter Miller at www.autolit.com This was an ealier topic, I tried it - and was very pleased. The cost was very reasonable and I was able to get a brand new brochure for my '92. Actually all kinds of literature is available.

To echo Dave's recommendation. I got original sales brochure for my 93 C2, and it was in perfect condition. Wonderful - a recommended source.

I'll give a third vote for Walter Miller. I've ordered quite a bit of lit from him. Timely shipping and everything I've received has been in very good condition.

I've bought something like 3-4 pieces of showroom lit and one huge 92 poster from dphiloxon on eBay. I've always found him to be good and easy to buy from.

Possibly http://gmundbooks.com although the websites not ready yet.

They advertise in the Porsche mags in UK 01423 862220. I think they can send you a catalog too.

I met a gentleman named Steve Kaplan at a PCA event two months ago. He sold me some great dealer brochures for my 964. He also sold me reprints of 964 articles from Car & Driver, Road & Track and Automobile magazine. You can reach Steve at:

In addition to the 964 materials I picked up, he had an entire Mini-Van crammed full of Porsche goodies from years gone by.

Enjoy!

Keep watching on ebay. I bought a Dealer's pocket fact book for the 1992 model year that is packed with info for about $10 or $20 - and I was the only one bidding on it. It even has all kinds of little sales tips and things the dealer should tell you to get you to buy a porsche. Did you know that in 1992 they had "Sophisticated Comfort Engineering" in the interiors?

I just purchased a Porsche factory sales brochure for my 1991 911 C2 from Walter Miller (http://www.autolit.com) for $15, plus $3.50 shipping and handling. It arrived 6 days after I placed the order through the website. It's in perfect condition. FYI - the 1991 911 brochure (which covers coupe, targa, cab and turbo) is #36399 in the Walter Miller catalog. (No affiliation, just a very satisfied customer).
