I've just had a lot of work done on my car, which included replacement of the track rod ends. Unfortunately, the steering wheel is now not quite straight, though very nearly so.
I know they would tweak it for me, but I can't be bothered to go back to the workshop. The geometry and tracking are set, I'm sure.
If I want to tweak things, presumably if I loosen the locknuts on either end of the steering linkage connecting rod and turn the rod itself so much (and the one on the other side the same amount in the opposite direction) this is any easy fix?
I've never bothered tweaking the tracking before, but am the usual 'competent DIY mechanic'.

Hi, John
Yes, you're absolutely right!
With a bit of a struggle, you can do it without even lifting the car - just put it on full lock and approach from the back of each wheel in turn.
About 1/4 turn on the adjuster will move the steering wheel about 10 degrees.
