You still have to put a hose on the bleeder to stop the old fluid from going everywhere, true?

why not just put a simple $2 non return valve inline in the hose you attach to the bleeder??
surely that will stop air from comming back into the caliper, pressure bleeder or not.

I think there's more chance of an air leak down the thread anyway.
just my 2c.

I adapted the bleeder nipple to a small diameter vacuum hose, and ensured everything is air-tight. The column of fluid in the hose prevents any air "suck back" even if I pump the pedal. I discovered next that pumping is not really necessary. Gravity does the work in about 10 minutes per nipple. I changed from blue to amber and confirmed the color change. Brake and clutch action are great. The only way to get air in is if you go to sleep and fail to keep the reservoir full.

I have them and they seem to work just fine. I have used them with and with out pressure bleeder systems.
