[QUOTE=axl911;2388422]Help. I already searched the forum, but can't find the answer.

I removed the half moon cover on one side of the fog light. Then removed the bumper guard on the other side. I then removed the 2 screws on both sides of the fog light, but the fog light won't come loose.

I need to replace the fog light bulb. What do I need to do next? The front part is not budging from the metal shell …….

Porsche sells these as a unit and they glue them for a water tight seal.
I was able to pry mine apart with gentle heat from a heat gun. Some advise putting it in an oven at 120 C for 5 minutes to soften the glue

They are not glued together! How would you change a bulb? Use a flat screwdriver or plastic trim tool to break the 30 plus years of shyte that is holding that together, you have undone the 2 screws that hold it together.

I quickly looked up the replacement - and then had a mini stroke 650$ ….. I will have to be very soft on my approach / I would not wish to spend 1200$ + on my own poor learning skills lol or experimentation Thank you thank you all for your direction

It may not be glue, but it sure turned into glue and was almost impossible to separate. At least that was my experience. See photo.

Good morning !

I know it has been a long log time a follow up question please - so last year I just left this alone since it was not broken ..... this year however I wish to change these bulbs to led bulbs ... Here is the question : If I gently "manage" the seal not hurt anything and etc ... when I put it back together what seal should I use so water or humidity does not enter the cavity. All insight would be appreciated. Thank you

With best wishes.

From what I see it looks like a prior owner lost or damaged the seal and glued them together. The seals i have are gray rubber. The factory doesn't sell replacements AFAIK. if you chose to glue them back together I would use a non hardening product. There is a window sealer for your house windows that might work. It turns into a soft rubbery compound which sticks but is easily removable. Might be worth a try. I don't kn ow if it is water proof but I suspect it would work.

They are probably not the fanciest of Led lights but I have had nothing but amazing results with this company ;

Was thinking these ones
