For what reason and where do you want to install spacers.
Need more details of what you are trying to achieve. I run 15mm spacers on my 911C4 (89) for my 993 70mm offset rear wheels in winter.
Nobody can answer such a vague question. Please much more detail and then we can help,
Ciao,
Adrian

Dear Adrian,
I've seen that my 17" 993 (255/40) touch sometimes the inside part of my car, where there is the oil tube (rear right).
So I'm a little bit afraid that these oil tube, or the gear can broke down.
I think that the only solution is a spacer.
Which are the maximum spacers allowed by the Swiss regulation?
I've called AMAG to know price of this spacers:
- 500 Frs AMAG Lausanne
- 600 Frs AMAG Geneva
Is there any problem with spacers on a C4?
thanks in advance

Dear Riccardo,
Remove wheel, install spacers onto existing wheel studs, then install wheel onto new wheel studs. If you have a spacer thicker than 6mm you are supposed to use longer studs. Obviously with a 5mm or 6mm spacer you remove wheel, put spacer over existing wheel studs and then reinstall wheel.
Just to clean up TSs question which we did off the board. He is running 993 winter wheels. 7JX17 55mm offset fronts and 8JX17 70mm offset rear. A very bad idea on a 964 unless you have 15mm spacers installed. TS is also running 255 rear tyres. I call this rub-a-mania,

Dear Adrian,
I've put this morning 17mm spacers on my rear wheels.(Porsche spacers from AMAG, price 350 Sfr)
They were installed onto my existing wheel studs, no need to install longer studs.
My offsets are now 70-17=53mm, so like the original offsets (52.3mm).
(Thanks to Adrian and Denis I've not damaged the car and perhaps me!)
