I'll try and refit the cowl. After speaking to my local trimmer.
One of the "joys" of a cabriolet! I must admit if it aint raining the roof is down, summer or winter !

Dirty can be good
Getting dirty from being driven is always good. I see way too many convertiables of all sorts being driven with the top up in perfect weather. To me, anything over 40 F and mostly dry is just right.
Long ago, buddy and I drove 125 miles in a snow storm in an MG Midget. We had our 210 cm skis on strapped sideways across the luggage rack, they were nearly a foot outside the car, both sides. We wore our ski goggles and laughed ourselves silly. Funny how a endless supply of Fosters can do that.

Not a cab thing - I've got the same on mine but not as bad as Rob's. Maybe a leather or warped dash thing? Warped dash is not that unusual on 964's, I believe. I looked into getting mine fixed and was quoted something like £850 a few years back. Explanation was that the leather shrinks and distorts the metal part of the dash and you just can't straighten it out so it all needs replacing and retrimming.

Mine is about 1/2 that bad, on a targa. I have the regular dash, I'm 99% sure. I'll snap a picture today and post it so you can compare. I did notice it when I bought the car, too.
