Post OT - Porsche Weather is HERE!

I posted this over on PelicanParts but it really belongs here in the 964 family.

I drive into WashDC 3 or 4 times a week from Reston for meetings and always take the C2. It's about 26 miles. I leave early, 6:15 a.m., to avoid our horrible traffic and make the drive more pleasurable.

Today was gorgeous, stunning! Sun coming up on a balmy, warm morning - down the full length of the tree-lined George Washington Parkway, across Memorial Bridge (Potomac River), around the Lincoln Memorial circle (roundabout for you guys over there), down along Tidal Basin with the blooming Japanese cherry blossoms, across the mall on 14th St, next to the Washington monument, encircled with American flags, and into the parking garage two blocks from the White House. - The C2's exhaust alternating burbling and screaming - Absolutely delightful drive in today!

And to think, we had two inches of snow just last Sunday!

Sorry for this OT - couldn't be helped.

Robert - does your number plate really say "ACHTUNG" or is it a trick of the light?

In hindsight, I should have had it created this way:

Very funny plate.

Is that a redbud tree? It's huge.

My car has been in storage since October 21... That's 166 days now. This week it's been raining and cold. This weekend looks even worse with predicted temps in the 30's and snow forecasted... With the possible snow, the threat of salt is there to delaying things even more. It (winter) just won't end............. I need to move........
