I have absolutely no AC, temperatures are on average 41 celcius and with black interior I can tell you that it aint no fun!! Last year I had the Evapurator and condenser replaced at a huge cost I assume that it can only now be the compressor, I have tried re-gassing the system but Im told it wont hold the charge. Can anyone advise me if the compressor is repairable, judging by its location on the engine and the fact that its easy to get to I was hoping that just this once I may get away with a small repair cost!!! Other than that its just a case of putting up with the heat !

They should be able to put dye in the system and tell where it is leaking out. You dont need to go to Porsche to get a new compressor if you need a new one. There are after market ones that cost $200 or so and are as good or better.
