I should also mention, to my huge shame, that I haven’t ever driven, or indeed actually been driven, in another 964, so I really didn’t have anything to compare it to.
I hadn't either until quite a while after I'd bought mine. Then I drove Christers up in Norfolk (in the old days, when it was still a fairly stock 964). He hasn't let me drive it since......

Graham,

It's not much in the way of consolation, but if you keep the car for a while the cost will spread out nicely, and as others have said it should hold it's price better than may others, I'll be able to drive behind you now and read the number plate.......
Oh, Co-pilot Dave has agreed to Le mans next year.......just a side note.....
