Hello mate, looks great. Just got mine back from the painters, and would you believe, I forgot to ask them to paint mine, I was going to have it yellow or body colour, bugger.
Cheers Raymond

Thanks for the comments guys,

As regards how dificult, out of 10 I'd rate it a 4. awkward more than difficult, the worst aspect is removing the fan from the assembly the 993 pics on the site do not make it clear which parts seperate from which...the fan bearing is captive on the alternator shaft, in a top hat looking piece, it's this that the fan pulls off of, not the alternator shaft itself, that means, don't go clouting things too hard, and when putting it all back together use the nuts and bolts to pull the fan over the bearing hat evenly, don't just thwack it back on...

I posted a picture of a chromed fan a month or two ago, showing one that was retro-fitted to a VW. The overwhelming response was tghat there are ONLY three colors that you can paint your fan...

Red, Yellow or Black...

I kind of like the yellow though I may try red on mine when I get around to it...

I plan on doing mine red as soon as you've written up a pictoral DIY guide and posted it in the technical section
