Are they any good? Do they really work? What is the true, tested and proven HP increase?

Having looked into this recently, the Weltmeister chip, today, is produced by Dinan, of BMW fame(Believe there may have been other mfg's over time). There are 3 different chips depending on your 964 production date. They make some weighty claims in terms of the performance enhancements in their catalog and website. However, not weighty enough for me to bite, at this point.

I agree with Bill. See Performance Enhancements Study II thread for more detailed info. This is especially true, I believe if you are restricted to 92 octane (Washington) or 91 (Calif). With high octane fuel, there is a little more that can be done in the chip, but not a lot.

Although I am running an authority MAF right now I really like the following together with the K&N cone filter setup.

Thanks Thomas. That was always the difficult part for me to remember, context and ordering of subject, verb predicate. I think its probably the same for folks where English is not their first language. I wish I kept up my language training after high school.
