Post 964 fuel pump

My fuel pump is beginning to make strange noises. No driving problems yet. I would like to have one on hand as I feel the change is coming soon. Has anyone had any experience with rebuilt pumps? The obvious appeal is $$$. But not really woried about an extra $100 if it's necessary. Also an observation. It seems to me like many more of the 964 people are now posting on the 964 board. Keep it up guys. Thank, Roy Eames

Roy, I replaced the front pump on my 930, which I ruined by my own stupidity that's another story. Cost me around $200.00. In my opinion, I don't want to be in the middle of nowhere when something like this breaks. Just not worth the saving on a rebuilt unit.

Horst, Thanks for the reply. Sometimes it helps just to bounce a question off someone. I will spring for the new one and not worry. Roy Eames 91 C2 Cab.
