Squeakiest brakes in the world

John:
If it makes you feel any better, my front brake squeal has re-appeared, not as bad as it was a year ago but it HAS re-appeared. You may want to consider a complete system replacement (rotors, pads, dampers, etc) or you may want to try one of the less dusty pads like MetalMasters. I don't know what it is about the 964, but some of us seem to have this problem and others don't. Unfortunately, we both seem to be in the same boat.
CHEERS?????

Roly....I'm not biting!
Bill
I am trying to avoid the complete replacement of rotors, pads etc. The rear rotors & pads are just 10k miles old and showing virtually no signs of wear. I can foresee changing tham all out and still having the problem!!
So, its de-glase first, new pads second, new rotors and finally, 996 GT3 (well, bins said the 993 brakes squeak too!!)
