Tire replacment time?
High,
I'm not sure of the correct time to replace my rear tires, I have the new ones in the garage, but i'm not sure if the ones I have on the car are used completly; the ones on the car are on the indicators, but there are indicators left., Are u supposed to wait till ur running on banana peels before you make the switch? Thanx for advise...

Two considerations - how would you feel in the rain with the existing grooves (probably OK for a little longer for non-spirited driving in the rain)? Second, if an officer of the law stopped you, might you get a ticket due to the tires being below the bars? Does NJ/NY/PA have any statement on depth of tread required on tires?

High Bill,
I guess I could get a few more miles out of them, prob. less than a 1000, but w/ prices the way they are I think i'll roll em. I think as long as you have the "pass" inspection sticker(I do), the law should leave you alone.
How we doing w/ drive recruits?, we should gather names and locations where their coming from soon, so we can plan a central meeting place. Let me know what you think, and I hope all is well. Talk to you soon and thanx, George.
