bearing pins
does anyone know anything about the pins that hold the bearings in place on the crank for a 2.0 air cooled engine, if so where do i get them i lost mine and cannot finish my engine with out them. I have just put about 1200 dollars into my engine with performance parts and am now screwed because i dont have these stupid pins. also when putting the pistons back on what is the easiest way to do it? e-mail me at imabum69@home.com if you know thanks alot. I figured that they wopuld be pretty much the same in all engines but i could be wrong so im trying to find out if they are the same and where i can get some

I thinks your in the wrong forum, however I can help you. Go to a Volkwagen shop that would be the easiest, the main bearing pins are the same. Load your pistons from the bottom of the cylinders, the bottoms have a taper which aid in ring installations. I always install the pistons into the cylinders, then install you wristpin and slip it into your rods. Good luck
