Hello Harald,

Not sure if I understand you correctly. My 964 has footwells, and pushing the Max AC button closes them. As a matter of fact, the button does everything described in the 993 owner's manual.

This turns out to be true. Driving home from work today, warm day, got stuck in a bit of traffic, followed by a slow line at the fast-food drive-thru. Oil cooler fan came on at just a hair over the 9:00 position, a bit lower than the temp. shown in the above photograph.
