I just finnished reading 1000 posts on the heating system and I still cant figure it out. I have hot air blowing from every vent including defrost and it wont stop when turned to blue dot and fan off. Last season I cleaned my servos (2) which seemed to work at the time. They were both stuck and I had only cold air. I tried disconnecting both arms today ,just as a temporary fix ,and that closes the valves which should give me only cold air again, but its still hot. I thought I understood the system but I guess I dont. Is there something else besides these two servos that I should check and why does closing these two servo rods not override the system and stop the heat? Maybe its the heat!!! 91 c2 Thanks for any help.

When you disconnected the arms and moved the valve/doors to the full-cold position (i.e. flat/horizontal) did you reattach the arms to the servos and tighten them down with a nut? If the doors can float freely the hot air from the engine will push the doors open and you'll have warm air entering the cabin again.

Any luck with this issue. I'm having the same problem.
