Post K&N removal - how do you do it?

Hi there. I'm trying to remove my brother's K&N open air cone filter. I can't tell how to remove it. It looks like there are 3 bolts attached to it but the housing at the neck looks intergrated.

Can someone advise me how to remove??

Thanks.

A picture would be helpful.

If it's like this item from MSDS

you can see that the base of the filter is held in place with FOUR nuts. I think you need a 9 or 10mm socket with extension.

If you want to remove just the filter, I believe there's a band near the neck of the filter which you simply unscrew to loosen.
