Post stone guards

Anyone fitted (rear arch) stone guards to a 964?

I'm wondering if the black ones for 911SC etc. will fit?

Cheers

Bob

This is something I too have been considering. I'm told that with a little trimming, they should fit.

You can always get a bra for the car as well to stop stone chips on the front. Or you can just stop driving the car. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

IMHO, this might look a little strange. Strange as in you might need to have a fixed large rear spoiler fitted as well. And get rubber strips for the bumpers.

I'm sure they cut it to size for 964 wheelarches, bonnet, mirrors, bumper, headlights etc.

If you search the archives, there's discussion on the various materials available. Note the SC arch coverings in black also come clear - may be for 993's and can alway be trimmed.

Email them and they'll send you pic of your car with all the bits you can buy and how much. You could end up spending a fortune covering your car in 'sticky back plastic'

Aside from agreeing with Christer regarding the aesthetics, I'm not quite sure these panels take a beating. Front bumper, bonnet and mirrors--definitely! Arches? Really?
