I just stumbled across a TV-program last night called Monster Garage. It's on Discovery Channel in the US.
Anyways, they took a 1984 944 and turned it into the world's fastest driving range golf ball picker.
it was a pretty impressive engineering effort to fit the picker, conveyer belt, ball basket and to top it all off a three barrel air gun to shoot the ***** back towards the range.
Goes to prove that P-cars can be used for a lot of things, I guess...

I did see the green Mustang lawn mower and it was a blast. 120 mph down the fairway - move over Tiger Woods!
There's a similar show called Junkyard Wars, where they pit two teams against each other and give them an engineering task, such as "build a paddlewheel boat". They determined the winner by having a tug of war in the middle of a lake.
