I really appreciate the offer but I think it would take a while before everyone weighed different parts of the system and have me tot up the totals...I just thought there might be someone who would know....?
At least you didn't make a joke about weighing your G-pipe - would that be with or without 'horse' or 'crack' in it?

Primary Muffler 23.5 lbs/10.7 kg
Secondary Muffler 23.25 lbs/10.5 kg

With Piers's cat info, what else would you need?

A full exhaust system ways significantly less than a pinstriped interior...I know which one I'd strip out first

Other than the mufflers, tailpipe and cat, the basic exhaust system weighs approximately 30 pounds. Additionally, the metal tube bringing outside air into the system for passenger compartment heat weighs another 4 pounds.

Heres my data in pounds,accurate scale, factory standard mufflers, factory racing bypass parts, FVD Cat bypass:
Primary muffler: 23.5
Cup primary bypass: 7.75
Weight saving bypassing primary: 15.75
Secondary Muffler:23.25
Cup secondary Muffler bypass: 3.75
Weight saving bypassing secondary: 19.5
Catalytic Converter and shielding: 16
FVD brand muffler type Cat bypass: 8.25
Weight saving bypassing Cat with FVD: 7.75
Primary muffler: 23.5
Cup primary bypass: 7.75
Weight saving bypassing primary: 15.75
Secondary Muffler:23.25
Cup secondary Muffler bypass: 3.75
