I got caught in quite a downpour last night. I notice this morning some dampness to the left of the glove box about right underneath the cd player. The cd player suddenly does not want to play cd's ..only radio works.
There is no evidence of water from the roof or windshield as. I'm guessing water could make its way in through the vent just outside the windshield (between the wipers), and down behind the dash to the sterio and inside the cockpit.

Check to see if your windshield seal is leaking. Take it to a glass shop. The glass should be urethaned in. Also check to see if the foam mats under your front carpets are wet.
