Post Blauplunkt "Stuttgardt" Stereo

I hope I spelled the names right.

In any case, I don't have a manual showing what all the buttons on my OEM stereo w/optional power amp are supposed to do. I've been able to figure out what most of them do, but not all of them ("LD" for example). FWIW my car has the factory optional power amp.

Anyone know where I can get this information? I tried the Blauplunkt web site and sent them an e-mail but never got a response.

Thanks in advance

Bill,

I had better luck at their Web site and they mailed me a copy of the manual. If you don't find one else where, Email me your address and I'll copy my copy to you.

I had the same response as Bill but I'll give it another try. As a recall their list of available manuals didn't include the Stuttgart. My question and concern is that I have no records of the security codes in case the radio ever loses power. Any suggestions there?

Bill,

LD = Loudness- boosts bass at low vol levels to compensate for the inefficiencies of the human ear.

I have my factory manual right here.

BTW... It is: STUTTGART

As in the tiny name on any Porsche crest.

If you need more answers just ask.

(oh & it is: Blaupunkt)

Jon:

I'll be more than happy to buy your manual from you. How much do you want for it and how big is it (could it fit be mailed easilly through the US mail?)

E-mail me directly at "wagner@sprynet.com"

Thanks to all (and for spelling corrections too )

Her is the BLAUPUNKT URL ...

They don't have old - 10 years old, radio manuals available on the site, but I sent an e-mail to support and they responded in a few days that they would be mailing me a copy of the manual from a file copy. It arrived with-in a week & No charge. It is not pretty - printed on plain copy paper ...but it's clearly readable and answered all my questions....

P.S. my STUTTGART is still working very well and I have not felt the need to upgrade ...rather listen to the car anyway !

This is a late reply to the question about a manual for a Blaupunkt Stuttgart radio. I got a manual for the radio in my 93 C4 from
www.midwest-usa.com about a year ago. It's online as a pdf file. They found one and posted it after I asked about it. The manual posted is for the OEM Porsche radio; it's not quite the same as the generic Stuttgart - I first got a manual for that from SW Stereo(? - they advertise in EXCELLENCE).
Incidentally, my '64 356C also had a Stuttgart radio, but didn't look and sound the same!

Anyone happen to have a manual for a Reno laying about that they don't want? I'd like to get one.

Horst:

I have a photocopy of a Blaupunkt Reno owner's manual that I could send you if you like.

Let me know via email if you are interested.
