Ok - I was bored!! I was wondering why the **** for the lights is never illuminated and thought I'd check to see whether there is a bulb in hte **** - Yes there is! It doesn't work!!

The bulb is OK (checked it in the fog light ****)
So, in a '92 UK, is the light **** supposed to be illuminated OR is it a ROW feature (like the gong if you leave the lights on)

PS: The gong issue is also a national requirement. It was only hooked up in nations that required it. Companies like Audi left it hooked up regardless but for some reason Porsche did not.

 

Is the lights on gong easy to hook up, or a PITA (as the Americans would say)

Ah no!!!. I do not know if you have followed any of the alarm system threads in the past. Remember I often ask for country code. It depends on the country code of your alarm system whether you can get this to work or not. Same as flashing indicator lights, how long the horn blasts for, what kind of blasts you get. All controlled via the alarm system.
I have not looked into how to possibly bypass such a set up,
