Post Torque Sensing Differentials vs. LSD

Has anyone got an opinion on Torque-Sensing Differentials(ie Quaife) or is it wise to get a factory 40% LSD? The factory parts are tempting, but so far I've read nothing bad about the Quaife, other than in some applications, like a 500SL they can be a bit clunky, but otherwise they're hailed as being incredibly durable, and ~half the price of a Porsche LSD.Any thoughts?

Depends on your use. The 40% or 80% ZF used in 915s is probably better for track use, the torque sensing better for autocross. For street use either 40 or t/s. Neither is as good as the latest 20/100 25/65 or 45/65 types, acceleration/deceleration used on 964 and 993 cars
