Default Airbag cover squeak / vibration / buzz

Hi guys, did a search but nothing germane. I just figured out one of the nagging interior noises in my '90 C2. The flat panel that covers the passenger side airbag, just above the glovebox, makes a sound somewhere between a squeak and a buzz, only while the car is moving. Pushing (moderately hard) on the right end of the panel silences it for a while, but it always returns to the position of maximum aggravation! A little rubber wedge or something would solve the problem, but look tacky. Anybody have any ideas? BTDT?

I actually traced my only known interior squeek to this spot the other day. Little pieces of felt in between the offending pieces is how I've always tackled these in the past. Havent tried this one yet.

OK, thanks, worth a try. I have no other squeaks either. Next to tackle is a rattle over short, sharp bumps, coming from somewhere behind me.
