Will this help cool things more...
In Tiptronic equiped cars, the AT fluid is run through a cooler mounted just in front of the oil cooler, making a Tip equiped car run slightly hotter. I was wondering if making a
cutout on the front of the plastic liner of the passenger side wheelwell and putting in a lovered plate, like the Carrera oil-cooler cover, would allow more airflow. I assume that this would provide more cooling to compensate for the, admitted, slightly increased oil temp due to the AT fluid cooler. Any thoughts?

I think that adding a second cooler on the A/C side of the car would help you lower the temps. An installation would be similar to the 993TT S. You could remove your fog lamp and install a duct to provide a little more air.

The easiest modification if this is a problem is to change the oil cooler and install the new oil cooler in the front. Drop me a private email.
