Leaking Oil Pipe?
Hi
Does anyone have any pics of the 'offending' oil pipe that can leak on the rear right side of the car? I have noticed the telltale blue smoke from the wheel arch when i am stationary... can anyone give me any guidance about which pipe it's likely to be and if it's usually just a case of tightening the pipe, or if it's a rubber pipe that splits and perishes...???
Many thanks in advance !!!

Hi Bo, How are you ?
Great minds think alike ! I've just been doing an oil change and notice that the oil leak(s) in the oil tank area, that I thought I'd cured are still there (less though) . A lot of my leak problem was due to rusted through jubilee clips
(worm drive clips). So I fitted stainless steel ones.

There are a bunch of potential scofflaw, on the oil filter console directly above where the secondary muffler attaches to the tail pipe you'll find the main culprit:
but there are so many other potential spots for a leak we could be here all afternoon guessing, its easiest to just jack the car and look (obviously the valve covers are another main culprit)

Check the 2 small hoses (3" - 75mm) about 1/3 the way up the resevoir tank. The upper hose with the bellows is not a pressurized hose, but if there is a break in it, oil will spew out.
