I think I would be wary of 9 inch wide wheels on the front...I have 8.5 and am sure they are marginal...

Mr Ruf tends to run fairly conservative offsets on his wheels.
Go not Show
So these won't be Max Power poking out of the fender jobs.

I realise that this demonstrates how sad I am, but.....

At the SE meet last weekend, I noticed most of us had coloured centre caps. It was before Greg turned up so I counted. For 10 cars, 7 had coloured caps, 2 had silver.

And then there was Christer......

I would make a witty retort.... except in this case, I feel your comment is well deserved.

Really don't know why I did it.......

Dave,

Did you also make a note of whose centre caps were correctly pointing to the valve???

I don't know who's worse - you or me???

Regards

Ian,

Not at all - it's a completely **** thing which the concours judges always look for. The idea is that the pointed end of the Porsche crest should point to the valve. It's almost as important as having all four wheels in the same orientation, valves at the bottom with the Porsche crest the right way up!!! All you have to do is jack up the car once you've parked and rotate the wheels to the right position. Just the thing for Sainsbury's car park eh??

Regards

Dave

or you can keep doing "burn-outs" until all four land in the same direction .

I'm beginning to think Christer has the right idea.

NOT having centre caps is beginning to look a lot simpler!
