90K service
Hey folks - the 90K service is quickly approaching. In fact, I'm taking the car in tomorrow to get it done!
Anything else I should think about doing at the same time? I'm thinking my tranny could use a rebuild (synchros feels a bit scrunchy when cold, but things get better as the car warms up), but I don't think I have the $$ to kick loose on that at this point.
Thoughts?

Suggest a flush and new tranny fluid, 75-90 gets too thick when cold which puts a strain on the synchros because they're sticking. Had the same problem, switched of over to a 30w. No longer have the problem and it shifts smoothly.

I would also consider flushing your brake fluid in the brakes and clutch if you haven't done it in a while. I try remember to do mine every 2 years. Another plus is my clutch always feels better after its been flushed and re-bled.

Yeah, I usually do the brakes/clutch myself, but work is crazy these days, and with a new baby...I just don't have a lot of tinker time.
Thanks all,
