I am about to buy a 1992 Roadster America. The pink slip does not metion Roadster on the title. Does any one know the vin# for these cars? I know that 250 were shipped to the U.S. and/or 350 were made total. The owner also claims that two in the color Metallic Rhodamine were made. Does any one know of any information? It is an American Roadster. There were no special VINs issued. What you need to do is open the trunk lid and write down everything that is on the label near the trunk latch.
Only 250 were made, actually it was more like 241 officially I think.
The label data which is also duplicated in the original service record book is the key. Get this data and post it here or email me privately. I am not going to tell you what you should find for obvious reasons. Get the owner to give you this data before you hand over any cash,
