Kevin, no missed shift. I presume the belt was damaged long before this event.
Regarding Steve@Rennsport, I got the rebuild info off his site. I cannot comment on anything else as I have not had any experience with him. He is a great source of information though!!

Part numbers for complete engines from my PET5 CD:
964.100.264.01 1989 M64.01 engine
964.100.264.31 1990 M64.01 engine
964.100.264.41 1991 m64.01 engine

Don't know what it all means, just taken verbatim from the PET5.
If you wan to check with the parts guy at Beaverton, I'd be very interested to compare with a UK OPC.
