Default Thule Rain Gutter Towers

I wanted to put a roof rack on my car to support occasional ski or bike transportation needs, and put together used short and tall towers so I could get the bars parallel. I now have an extra pair of each (bought sets of four) that I don't need - these accept the regular old rectangular load bars that are commonly available. They are used but in reasonable shape. Asking $150 for the set of four. Would prefer local pickup (Seattle area) but could ship them for an estimated $20. Your car could look like this:

PM me if interested.

Tom

Got one, thanks RL!

Does anyone have a t-stat to oil filter housing hose I could salvage this section from? Mine has a developed a kink, but was just rebuilt by Elephant less than 10k ago. Hoping someone has one with a bad soft line or bad t-stat side fitting I can use to replace this section.

Thanks!

Wow - expensive part - now I know why you're looking. I wonder if you could take the part off, with the fittings, and have the pipe fabricated at an A/C shop or radiator shop. Just thinking out loud......because you know it would be at most a hundred bucks at a radiator shop or the like...vs 500 from Porsche! (or even have them repair it for less)

I looked into local repair/rebuild options when I rebuilt the entire oil system 12k miles ago and had no luck. Ended up shipping my lines in a 60" TV box to Elephant.

I'm afraid to drive the car with the interruption in flow, so I'm not sure how much more patience I'll have before biting the bullet. Really hoping to get lucky.

That appears to be a kink in the brass pipe itself. How would that have happened later and not upon install? I doubt the restriction is enough to cause issues for standard street driving until you find a solution. This pipe is under pressure so it shouldn't limit the flow that much if at all. $500 for a new line is pricey but at least it is available.

It is a kink in the brass. The entire t-stat was pushed upwards. Either I ran something over (feel like I would've noticed with 18's and 450/750lb springs) or the shop that flipped my tires and aligned the car put a jack/lift pad on it.

I agree it would likely be fine, but I'm sure you can imagine what I spent to rebuild the motor 12k miles ago. No sense in driving it with even the slightest possibility that I could have less than ideal oil flow or pressure, or risk the crease developing a crack.

New hard section is on the way. Should have it rebuild and installed shortly. Thanks everyone!

Default Front trunk carpet liner

Hi all - my car is missing a front trunk liner. Does anybody have one lying around? Otherwise, I'm consider one on eBay or potentially something from Carbone.

Thanks!

FYI you need to be more specific. These changed not only over the years but by options. I have one I need to check what it is from. IIRC it is an older 89-91 with the snaps vs velcro and an opening for the intensive washer. Also check that all the snaps or velcro anchor points are there. They can add up. PM me I will get back to you later if needed.
