LSD
You will have to get under the car and take off the under tray and the transmission will have a stamp on it, it should read G5003 for the limited slip diff.or you can take the car out and light the back wheels up and see if you leave one tire mark or two thats what I did. Two marks will mean you have LSD. Hope this helps Brian
Check your option codes...
The LSD code for the RSA is "220"
or
The Tranny stamp will read
G5003 N - 90-91
G5005 N - 92-94 and RSA 93-94
if the digit 'N' is
1 normal dif
2 ZF limited diff
4 40% RSA limited slip

Hey you guys!!!
Just check the codes on the hood, has G5003 1L for the tranny, I guess i don't have LSD. Grrr!!
Im very interested in learning how to drift the car around corners at the track. Sources say that it is easier to drift your car around corners if you have LSD. Even if you don't have a LSD, would you still be able to drive the car around corners? if so any experts out there are willing to share the steps to get a a 964 to drift?
Thanks

I haven't had much success in this area but I'm working on it.
I can get the tail out (easier said than done in a C4) by either lifting in a turn or feeding in some throttle right as the weight rotates around to the end. That's where I usually ease off and correct.
To drift, you need to stay on the gas and apply some opposite lock. The latest GT Purely Porsche explains the mechanics using a 996TT. I just need to find a nice, safe air strip where I can perfect the feat.
For additional pointers, take a look at the <a href="http://www.importthugs.com/videodownloads.asp" target="_blank">GT3 Drift Video</a> at Import Thugs.

Suggest signing up for a local drivers education event or class at a nearby track, and spend some time with an instructor.
