Default Targa cover

Do they make a Targa cover, that just goes over the top and glass?

I have one for my cab and can put it on even with the top up. It just covers the windshield, top and rear window. Dont see why it wouldnt work on a Targa. Cost $65 I think. Believe I got it thru the PCA Pano magazine

I used one like this for my old targa... It came in handy a few times but it's actually easier to put back in the targa top.

I'm interested...I'll start looking, especially based on keitharts recommendation. If it works in Miami, it will definitely work in Maryland!

I'd be interested in one if we can't find them in the stores.

Here is a link for the cockpit cover that fits the 993 Cab at Mid-America: http://www.tweeks.com/shop?frame=5.85.2003.
I had one for my 944 Cab and it was real nice. I had it on one day, it rained pretty good while I was gone and the interior was dry when I took the cover off. I don't know if these will fit a Targa, but if they do I'll probably pick one up in the future.

I sewed a couple strip mags in mine and it does help keep it from blowing off. Only thing is you need to pull it back further exposing some of the windshield. I need to add a couple wings on the back I think and move the mags to them. Those little tabs are worthless. I might be interested in a new one in blue if its water resistant.

yea but the targa cover will fit the cab probably. I also use it on mine with the top up to protect it from birds and fading. The extra fabric would be good.

i didnt know the tabs were suppose to be tucked in the engine compartment
I always tucked them under the top boot cover. Maybe thats why they dont work in the wind Duuuuuuh

I have one of these covers for my targa. I bought it new from Covercraft and fitted it to my car, it fits well. It has tube filled webbing straps that get pinched in the slots for the engine lid and trunk and velcro straps for the door handles. The Covercraft product number is IC3011. Since I haven't used it since I bought it, I'd sell it for $30 plus shipping. It's light grey in color. The directions say that the cover is not intended to be used as protection from rain, but it's made from water -resistant material.

contact me if you want to get covered.
