Post SCCA Autocross in San Diego 3/16-17

If any one is interested, the SCCA will be holding round two of the Solo II National Tour series at the former Jack Murphy Stadium on 3/16 and 17. The following link has the details:

<a href="http://www.scca.org/amateur/solo2/nat_tour/2002/sandiego/index.html" target="_blank">http://www.scca.org/amateur/solo2/nat_tour/2002/sandiego/index.html</a>

This site is one of the better (dare I say, one of the Best!) Solo II sites to be found, and normally features some of the coolest Solo II courses anywhere. This is a 2 day event, with your daily times added togther to determine your finishing position. You will get 3 laps per day.

I have run their the last few years in my previous vehicles, and it is an absolute blast. Wide open courses (3rd gear in some cars), elevation changes, and a great atmosphere.

The entry fee is $55, and SCCA Membership is required, but trial memberships are available at the site ($15-$20 I think, but you might call SCCA at 800-770-2055 to be sure of the cost).

Stock 964's will run in B Stock, and run against the Boxter (non S), 968, Honda S2000, MR2 Turbo, other 911's, and a bunch of other cars that excape my at the moment.

FTR, the 964 is NOT considered to be the car to have in the class, but if enough 964's show up, we can fight amongst ourselves for beers and In and Out Burgers!

Feel free to reply privately if you have any questions.

Best Regards,

Brian Leduc
