Got my first 911, a '77 911S Targa when I was 19. Two 911sc's later and now I've got a C4.

Although I'll be turning 34 in August, my wife swears that I'm not nearly that mature.

31 years old (just turned a week ago).
Bought first 911sc (used) at 16 years old (6 mos before getting license), 1987 911 (used) at 23 years old, and now '93 964 at 30.
I didn't fit the demographics of the 911 when I was younger, and didn't fit the demographics of the cadillac STS I used to have that I bought used as an everyday car at age 24- people saw Caddy and thought what an old man's car, until I blew them away with the 300hp motor...that car was a sleeper when it first came out!

Jezz, what a bunch of young'uns - I think I'm the old man here - will be 60 in July - but I still behave like an adolescent when I'm driving the C2, particularly on the track!

...43.....
mid life crisis resulted in the 356 and the 914/6 project.
Why do we buy older cars to make us feel younger ????
