41, bought the car when I was 30. My goal was a 911 by my 30th birthday. Missed it by 6 months. On the good side, I was able to pay cash. ;-)
Its been a great car. Although, I wish I had gotten the C-2 instead. The weather is good here and I don't need the 4wd. Plus I'd like to have the lighter weight.

I'm 34
I bought my 964 one month ago as an early birthday present. (May 5th)
I got my first Porsche when I was 26, and since then I have sworn that hell or high water I will never be without one.
I have wanted a 911 since I was eight years old when I watched a bad movie on CBC canada, in which a guy drove a mid 70s 911 from Vancouver to Whistler to pick up some Hottie. Thats all I remember about the movie except asking my dad what kind of car that was. From that point I was hooked.
When road and track reviewed the new 1989 C4 I thought it was beautiful. Now I happily own one.
I have now officially given up on being a millionaire by 35. (Or coming anywhere even remotely close to it.)
I would really like to know what percentage of Porsche owners were born on each month of the year. It seemed like almost everyone was born in May as I was reading this thread.
