Default Cigarette lighter adapter

My Valentine One radar detector plug does not fit into the cigarette lighter on my 90 C2 cab (it's too loose). Does anyone know of a place to purchase a collar to snug up the plug in the lighter?

Thanks,

I had the same problem on a few accessories. If you lightly pull out the metal band that is on most cig plugs it will increase the diameter and will work. Bumps may cause it to come loose though. I don't know if there is a positive fix for this.

You can purchase a proper fitting 12V cigarette lighter plug (for 12V accessories). Purchased it from a Porsche dealer parts department (Clair Porsche Parts here in MA).
Fits perfect, nice and snug.

I bought one for my RSAmerica and it went with the car when I sold it IIRC.
If I can find the # at home tonight, I'll post it.
