<img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> Today I drove my wife's car, a '91 Acura Legend, to work. On the way home a red 964 C2 Cab came storming up the on ramp merging into traffic at 85mph+! The top was down, the engine was howling! ...and I have to tell, you I was momentarily itimidated by the ferocity of the car. (oh how I wish I had been in my cabriolet at that moment!) The car had teardrop mirrors, dual exhausts, and the wheels arches were STUFFED! ...did I mention the intoxicating sound?

He merged into traffic just behind me and was immediately around me with the engine at full song! I tried, but couldn't keep up.

I didn't recognize the driver, but I recognized the driving! That could have been me storming through traffic in a bit of exuberant driving.

What an incredibly sexy car! If I didn't already love Porsche's - I'm sure I would have been bitten in that moment.

Here's a toast to all my fellow 964's owners! Keep the faith!

Many times when stuck in my Saab on the daily commute will I bump into either a red or a gun metal grey 964....seeing them fly off, hugging the corners (the gun metal has a particularly vicious bark- cup bypass at least) as they go always makes me wish I'd taken the Porsche out instead....

At least I have the BIG Vortech motor, it "gets it" when needed.
