This looks like it is going to be a good long topic.

I see that some of you have changed the brakes to RS brakes, what are the changes needed. I bought some drilled brakes I think the brand is SEBRO, anyone has some experience with them, I wouldn´t like to put them and feel that the ones I have now are better.

I've only got maintanence things to do now - (hopefully)

Replace Boot Carpet
Replace Filler neck union and Petrol filler cap.
Replace fading front rubber Smile
Replace damaged underside front spoiler
Replace Engine Head Temp Sensor for later version
Replace front pads
Replace Spoiler curtain

And I would like...

Cup mirrors
Front Strut brace
High stop light

OK - my list...

Seats - leather needs re connolising
Handbrake & gearstick - leather has turned a very strange colour... (anyone got any ideas?)
Replace rear Porsche strip - like most, it has faded to a nasty shade of pink
Replace rear light clusters - also faded to pink, and RH is also cracked
Driver's window - rattles (but only when roof is down...need to strip door down to investigate)
Centre console lights - all lights out - going to try LED replacement, per John Miles' excellent www.porsche964.co.uk website
Park distance control - I've tracked down an interesting electro-magnetic system (as opposed to the 'normal' ultrasonic systems with individual sensors) which fits inside the rear bumber with NO sensors on the rear bumper. I've been given one to try, so I'll report progress...
Paintwork - bonnet and front bumper have extensive stone chips and will need repainting eventually
Wind deflector - www.classicadditions.co.uk have a 1-piece collapsable wind deflector, so this is on my wish list
Wheels - I just don't like Cup2s as much as Cup 1s - so I'll probably look to change my (original) 993 Cup 2s for Cup 1s.

I bought my black 1991 C2 coupe with a number of modifications and have added quite a lot of money myself. The engine now has 286 hp, 353 NM. Here is the status quo:

large throttlebody
K&N airfilter, drilled airbox
reinforced valve spring retainers
cup pipe
sports cat
new cylinder heads, valves, springs
Sportec customised chip

993 6-speed gearbox
RS flywheel and clutch (highly recommended, even for the road!)

H&R springs, Bilstein Sport dampers
RS swaybars
Pagid orange brake pads
Roock front strut brace

original RS leather buckets with red backs &
Turbo Sports seats, black with red piping
RS interior in black (doors, carpet, no sound proofing)
Sparco alloy pedals
Momo Montecarlo wheel, 30 mm spacer
Ruf alloy shift ****
TechArt alloy gauge bezels
Heigo Club bar
Schroth 4-point harness

carbon front hood
Macrolan rear window
cup mirrors
RS 3.8 GRP rear wing
front splitters
Mille Miglia 9x17 rear wheels, OE cups front
red Carrera side script
white indicator lenses

The next steps will be:
front brake cooling, C4 brakes at the rear, ball joint suspension

Wow, almost forgot what has been done already...

This was the mod that started the ball rolling for me. I had had disks fade and warp doing track days. I tried an RS and was so impressed by the difference in the brakes. They look so good too

Haven't looked back since - brakes have taken everything thrown at them and just laught it off.

John, as Alex has asked - what is the process for upgrading to RS brakes-? Any problems?

Basically, all I can say about what was involved is that I ended up with news discs/rotors and callipers - not a very technical explanation, I'm afraid, but (as this forum now has as its buzz-phrase-) you did ask!

Lets see, after 5 years in Alaska what my C4 really needs is a complete exterior overhaul: bumper cover cracks front and rear to repair or replace, rust trying to start on the windshield pillar and rust eating through the rear quarter below the tail end of the gutter, tired paint (but really no dings), windshield with multiple star cracks, rear window with funky internal discoloring (delamination?), and lots of brittle, cracked, or shrunken rubber and plastic trim. And while I am wishing, I would add aero mirrors. That should keep me and my visa card busy.
